Heather Hensell, Ed.D. – Provost

Dr. Hensell serves as the Provost for Remington College. She taught both online and face-to-face for 12 years prior to joining Remington College in August of 2017. Heather earned her doctorate in higher education leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University and has a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of North Texas, a master’s degree in family studies from Texas Woman’s University, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of North Texas. When she’s not cheering on the students at Remington College, Heather enjoys reading and instant film photography. She’s currently working on her first creative non-fiction short story and hopes to begin a Master of Fine Arts program in creative non-fiction in 2022.

Jon Daniels – Director of Campus Administration of Remington College Online and Knoxville

Jonathon Daniels is an U.S. Army Veteran – served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I, II and III. He is a two time Army Commendation Medal Recipient. Jon is married and the father of five children. He has worked in higher education for 16 years. Originally from Southern Illinois, an avid sports fan, Jon played college baseball and was scouted by Red Sox, Cardinals, Cubs and Braves.

Lisa Alessandro

Lisa Alessandro – Joined Remington College 16 years ago as a Admission Representative. From there she moved over into the Financial Aid Department where she worked for 1 year. After learning the front end of the education business, Lisa took on the Registrar Position. This is where her hard work and dedication to details really came in handy. Lisa worked in the Registrar position for 4 years during which she received her Master Degree in Science Management. She left Remington to gain more experience in the Registrar position only to return to us a master in her field. Her enthusiasm for the student’s education experience is shown every day through her commitment to her craft.

Linda Lipnos

Recently Linda Lipnos has taken on the role as the Medical Assisting Department Chair, but she has been with the Remington College family as a dedicated instructor for years. Linda has been a Registered Radiology Technologist since 2002 with 13 years of clinical experience in the field. Ms. Lipnos’ primary expertise is Diagnostic Radiology which gives her the ability to figure out all of her students problems. Ms. Lipnos has experience working in radiology in hospital settings, including the Emergency Room, Trauma Radiography, surgery, outpatient, inpatient, and directly assisting the Radiologist. This includes patients of all ages. In addition, Ms. Lipnos has three (3) years supervisory experience in the Radiology Department at Parma Hospital. Ms. Lipnos has been an Instructor at Remington College since 2015 where she has been teaching in the MAX Program including the Radiology, Health Sciences and Capstone classes.

Bethany Irrizary Burgos

Bethany Irrizary Burgos, a June graduate of the Medical Office Administration program, recorded perfect attendance in 5 out of 8 mods and achieved a 4.0 grade point average during her time at Remington College, Cleveland.

Terhan Freeman – Director of Campus Administration

Terhan Freeman is a Bedford Hts. native that graduated from Trinity High School in Garfield Ohio. Terhan Freeman is Director of Campus Administration/Dean of Academics at Remington College where he serves as the Campus day to day operations.  He comes to Remington with expertise in Accounting, Financing, Marketing, Mathematics, Psychology and Educational Management.

Terhan graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor degree in Educational Psychology.  He is a certified special education teacher. After graduation, he immediately started working with children of all ages in the field of special education focusing on the learning methods to best educate students with multiple disabilities.  He taught in the Dayton, Cincinnati and Cleveland Public Schools where he enjoyed the interaction of helping the inner city school students.

Terhan was recognized for his knowledge and proficiency as an educator.  He was offered a position as director of learning for several daycare centers in the Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio.  Among completing his journey, Terhan moved back home to Cleveland and earned a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.

Terhan served as the Director of The Mentor Network (REM Ohio) that provided adaptive support to special need adults in the four counties (Cuyahoga, Lorain, Erie, and Huron) in the Northeast side of Ohio.  He was distinguished for his hard work and efforts to grow the company to provide support for over 85 individuals with an annual budget of 3.8 million to sustain quality assurance within the preservation of the individual’s homes and daily living.

Terhan Freeman has chosen the field of Education, as a career because he believes education is perhaps one of the most utilized functions performed in our society.  Terhan believes the world of instructors and teachers individually and collectively cannot only change the world, but also improve it and in the process find personal and professional renewal.  Terhan is part of this noble profession and someday hopes to be counted among those whom companies and institutions find inspirational.
