Heather Hensell, Ed.D. – Provost

Dr. Hensell serves as the Provost for Remington College. She taught both online and face-to-face for 12 years prior to joining Remington College in August of 2017. Heather earned her doctorate in higher education leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University and has a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of North Texas, a master’s degree in family studies from Texas Woman’s University, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of North Texas. When she’s not cheering on the students at Remington College, Heather enjoys reading and instant film photography. She’s currently working on her first creative non-fiction short story and hopes to begin a Master of Fine Arts program in creative non-fiction in 2022.

Jon Daniels – Director of Campus Administration of Remington College Online and Knoxville

Jonathon Daniels is an U.S. Army Veteran – served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I, II and III. He is a two time Army Commendation Medal Recipient. Jon is married and the father of five children. He has worked in higher education for 16 years. Originally from Southern Illinois, an avid sports fan, Jon played college baseball and was scouted by Red Sox, Cardinals, Cubs and Braves.

Detoria Crawford

Detoria goes above and beyond to ensure new and existing students’ financial aid is complete and all documents are accounted for to ensure there is no interruption in their program. She builds relationships with the students as applicants and continues to develop them throughout their time in their program. She is a team player and ensures that Mobile FA department continues to shine.

Felicia Tansey

Felicia has worked in the healthcare field as a Medical Assistant for 6 years. As an instructor for Remington College, she is able to take what she has learned and apply it in the classroom for the future generation of Medical Assistants.

Patricia Mitchell

During Patricia’s time at Remington College she completed the CADD program with a 4.0. Her 12 months were met with challenges as she had to take care of her mom and then her mom passed. She still maintained a 4.0 GPA while overcoming these obstacles.

Tekia Rocker – Director of Campus Administration

Tekia Rocker currently serves as the Director of Campus Administration and Dean at the Mobile Campus. Tekia has an MBA in Healthcare Administration and a BS in Biology. Tekia enjoys reading in her spare time. Her vision for student success is what drives her to ensure that all students receive the education they deserve. Her motto to the students is “I’m only successful when you succeed”.
