Tamara Hensley

Tamara was an outstanding student, she  can work in a group and motivate others, is very enthusiastic about learning and always seeking improvement, and she was always positive, cooperative, punctual, and friendly.

She completed the program successfully with a 3.69 GPA, did exceptional on her Externship, and was hired right after she completed her hours.

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Tamara has wanted to be in the dental field since she was 12 years old and got her braces.

In her own words:

“I might be the only 12 year old that was excited to get braces! Once I saw how beautiful my teeth looked I knew I wanted to work in the dental field when I grew up. I wanted to help someone like my orthodontist team helped me! I am now working at an Endodontics office in Brentwood, TN. It’s a lot different than orthodontics, but I love my job and watching our doctors save teeth! Its so amazing being able to help make the experience enjoyable and help save teeth that our patients thought they would have to get extracted.

I am so thankful for the staff at Remington College not only for teaching me everything I know and shaping me into the assistant I am today, but they also helped me after I was done with classes with getting everything I needed to apply for my license! They were so helpful when the pandemic started with questions I had and reassuring me that they would help me with anything I needed to help with the process we were having to go through due to the pandemic!

My experience at Remington College was everything I could have imagined and more! I am so thankful for the teachers and staff that helped me get to where I am today! Thank Ms Mary, you have no idea how appreciative I am for you!! You were an amazing teacher and so helpful. Mr. Whitman and Mr. Groves too! They were so amazing and Mr.Whitman really prepared me for what I would experience in a dental office!”
